The Veil Remembers What Mortals Forgot
Then it tore something open in you. Now you can walk into the Crucibles where its memories take shape, and carry the truth back out.

A Fracture in the Veil
Before anything else, there was the Empyreal Veil — and Sorrem sprouted from it. The Veil still surrounds what grew from it, recording every feeling Sorrem has ever had. Beneath Sorrem runs the Soul Stream, a current made of mortal feeling, and its resonance builds in the Veil. Where that pressure grows past what the world can hold, it condenses into a Crucible: a place built from what the Veil remembers.
Most of Sorrem believes the Radiant Dominion are the Veil itself, given form — not outsiders, but the protection made manifest. That belief isn't the whole story. Few mortals ever learn what the Dominion actually are, or what keeping that story alive has cost.
The Dark Revenant began as Veil-touched who saw past it. The name was the Dominion's insult before it was theirs. They call the Dominion's harvest theft, dressed up as protection, and fight to end it — whatever the fight requires. Some of what that fight has cost isn't easily forgiven either.
The Veil remembers everything and explains nothing. Every account of what happened is somebody's account. What you believe is yours to decide.

Grow Through Play
Forget classes and levels. Your skills grow the more you use them. Let a weapon rest and your edge dulls; what the Veil teaches you stays. You become what you repeatedly do.
Shatter the Heart
Every Crucible grows from a single heart, and every manifestation you destroy releases Essence. Shape it into crystals for the fight, then shatter the heart and carry the rest out.
Decide What's True
The Veil records every side of every story, Dominion and Revenant alike. Sorrem's history is contested on purpose — explore it and draw your own conclusions.
Something Awaits
The Veil is thinner than either faction wants you to know. Walk into a Crucible and find out why.
